Alicia Lawson first delved into the world of serial killers when she watched true crime documentaries with her grandmother. Alicia was so intrigued by how the detectives would solve the case that she would read stacks of crime fiction and as much forensic non-fiction as her worried mother would allow.

Now a full-time writer, she lives in her native California with her husband and two dogs. Returning to her roots, she draws inspiration from real case studies, genre staples, and research for her own stories. Her books feature strong female characters who face their pasts head-on, using their driven nature to dig into the evidence and catch the killer.
